Project overview
Steady for Business is a simple app for small service businesses in Malaysia. It keeps leads, clients, projects and payments in one place, tells owners who to follow up each day, drafts the WhatsApp message for them, and tracks every deposit and balance.
I designed and built Steady myself as my own product, from the first idea to the working app.
The problem
Small service businesses lose work because nobody follows up. Most run on three scattered places:
- Enquiries on WhatsApp, buried under family chats and group messages.
- Quotes in the owner’s head, remembered until they aren’t.
- Payments in a notebook, hard to check and harder to chase politely.
How it works
Every morning, the owner gets one list. They open Today to see who to contact, what’s due and where to be. They tap to send a WhatsApp message that’s already drafted and signed with the business name. Then they tick it off. Staff need no training.
